When a redneck wants to drive in style here is the perfect truck for letting the kinfolk know you have some money! I think I am going to rent this extended redneck truck for my baby girls shotgun wedding coming up here in a few months. We want to make sure she is married before the baby is born, and what better way to celebrate her special day than to have her ride to the church in a super stretched F150!

Muzzle Loader Rifles

My gun of choice for deer season is to use a muzzle loader rifle. This traditional gun has the power and range to take down a deer at 100 yards. For myself, I prefer the added thrill of the hunt when I use a muzzle loader. There are many muzzle loader manufacturers today with a wide assortment of muzzle loader rifles to choose from.

Just a few weeks back I was at a gun show and was looking at a Traditions DeerMaster with a hardwood stock and black barrel. it was a beautiful gun and very affordable. I really think I am going to have to order one to add to my collection!

Turkey Hunting Time

As spring is getting closer, it is time for the turkey hunting season to begin. Last year I really did not have any luck at my usual spot, but this year I have a new turkey hunting idea. Last season I lost my turkey call out in the bush, so I have been shopping around for a new turkey call. There are a number of different options for turkey calls available, but I like the traditional turkey call. The last one I had lasted me for 10 years before I finally lost it.

I have been scouting my location for this year, and the turkey population seems to be heavy in my new hunting area so I am excited. Just last week I cleaned my gun and adjusted the sight so I am all ready to go for turkey hunting this year!

Jerky Recipe

Here is a down home favorite for making jerky. You can use venison or beef, and a food dehydrator or oven to dry. This jerky is easy to make and really tastes great. If you like to make your own jerky then give my recipe for homemade redneck beef jerky a try! Before you get started making this jerky recipe, here is a list of ingredients you will need:

10 pounds of lean beef or venison.
1 bottle soy sauce
1 bottle worcestershire sauce
1 bottle teriyaki sauce
10 tablespoons dark brown sugar
10 tablespoons garlic powder
8 tablespoons onion powder
8 tablespoons cayenne pepper
10 oz. liquid smoke
8 oz. molasses

Once you have all of the ingredients combine in a bowl. Remove any excess fat from the meat and cut meat into strips. Cover the strips in the ingredients in the bowl. Make sure there is enough liquid to cover the meat. Cover meat in the bowl and refirgerate 24 to 48 hours, stirring occasionally.

Set the oven to 160 degrees and preheat. In the meantime cover cooking sheets with aluminum foil and place the meat so that the pieces do not touch. Dry meat for 6 hours, or until dry. before you know it you will be enjoying your very own home made jerky. If you like my recipe or have another jerky recipe to share, let me know!

The Tea Party Movement

For the last few years there has been a movement that is gaining strength in this country. It is called the Tea Party movement, and it’s aim is to stop the out of control spending in Washington that affects all red blooded Americans like me and you! The Tea Party Movement is a grass roots activist organization that is made up of everyday local people who have had enough with the socialist slide this country has taken. The fat cats in Washington want to tax us to death, take away our guns, and control our lives.

If you are ready to stand up to big governemtn like the rest of us rednecks do, then the Tea Party Movement might just be our last best hope to get this country out of the gutter. This nation was buit on freedom and democracy with God’s blessing and we will fight to stop the liberal socialist agenda from taking away the rights each of us are born with. So many men and women have given their lives to defend our country, when the greatest threat comes from our leaders.

Getting involved is the first step and damn near the responsibility of all God fearing Americans. With one voice we will be heard! Don’t just sit on your but, get out and do something today!
